Thank you Shawn

For many years, even before Porters was officially named in 2014, many of our players to this day have stayed at the club. They continue to make Porters the long standing family that it is today. Without people like Shawn & the other amazing players, we would never have achieved what we have. Its because of these people, we can offer the wonderful family environment that we do today, and its to these members whom we owe so much thanks.

Particular thanks goes to our Friend, Goalkeeper and Coach, Shawn.

A man who brings a smile to every session, brings hope to those who want to succeed, and comfort to everyone who knows him. There comes a time where the boots need to be hung up, and sadly Shawn has chosen to retire from football, and will be sorely missed by us all.

Shawn is well known in the disability & special needs football community for his amazing goalkeeping skills. He has captained the club, been a fantastic coach for our U12's, played for the Special Olympics and most recently been awarded the highest achievement in the club for 2025 thus receiving an honorary status within the club.

From us to you Shawn... Thank you so much. Our friendship lives on, and from everyone at Porters Soccability. You're the most amazing role model we know. We are truly sad to see you go
